The Latvian Relief Fund of America (LRFA) in 2012 celebrated 60 years of service.
LRFA is a fraternal, mutual assistance organization, providing a variety of benefit plans to help members to cover their health care, funeral and other expenses.
Our Health Care and Medicare Supplemental plans help cover the medical expenses of participating members. LRFA also offers members a Supplemental Health Care Plan, which pays specific monetary sums for time spent in the hospital. Our Mortuary Benefit Plan helps cover member's funeral expenses. We also assist members with Travel Medical Insurance and help members obtain health care coverage for relatives in Latvia.
All members of LRFA are eligible for monetary relief from the LRFA Emergency Assistance Fund in cases of natural disaster or other catastrophic events.
Any United States resident who supports the principles and work of LRFA may become a member. Membership is not contingent upon participation in a benefit plan.
But, participation in LRFA benefit plans is open to members only.
