We are looking for great new photos for the LRFA website!
Send us your favorite photos and you could win a free LRFA membership for one year!
Winning photos will be displayed on the LRFA.org home page on a rotating basis. Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome to participate.
Please submit digital images only, either by mail (on CD) or by email,
postmarked no later than Friday, April 23rd.

Photo Eligibility
To enter, you must be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident (green card).
LRFA employees and Board members and their immediate family members are not eligible. Immediate family includes only spouses, parents and children.
Photo Formats
Photos may be in color or black and white. Make sure you only send copies, not originals, as all submitted entries become the propery of LRFA.
Images should be formatted to 72 dpi, no larger than 600 by 450 pixels and no smaller than 450 by 338 pixels. Panoramic photos are not eligible.
Images should be submitted in JPG (at high quality) or TIFF format. File sizes must be less than 500K per image. Digital images will not be returned.
LRFA reserves the right to resize or otherwise optimize photos for better website usage, download speed, or performance, as needed. Every attempt will be
made to preserve photos as close to the original submitted as possible.
Photographer/Copyright
Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than yourself.
You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo is your guarantee that you are the author and
copyright holder of the photo.
Number of Entries
An individual may submit up to three photos per contest.
Photo Subject Restrictions
Photos must be appropriate for posting on the LRFA website. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered.
LRFA retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. Individuals submitting any photo containing recognizable people must have the subject's
prior consent to use their image on the LRFA website. The individual submitting the photo is solely responsible for obtaining such consent.
Return of Photos
Photos, regardless of the medium, will not be returned. Please do not send your only copy of a photo.
Ownership/Use Rights
Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By entering the contest, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed on the
www.lrfa.org website without any fee or other form of compensation, and agree that LRFA may display winning photos in a "past winners" photo gallery and in the
announcements of winners (mail and/or email), and may make and retain copies of the photograph for archival purposes. Photos will be credited to the photographer
named in the submission process. Entrants agree that LRFA may contact them to obtain permission for use of photos in other publications or manners. In the event
that ownership of any photograph submitted to LRFA is contested in any manner, LRFA retains the discretion to disqualify that photograph and discontinue use of the
photograph.

Each photo must be accompanied by the following information:
- Name of photographer
- Contact information
- Date photo was taken
- Location
- Subject description
Judging
Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality, and subject interest to LRFA members. The LRFA Board will judge the entries and
present finalists to the LRFA Representatives at the 2010 Conference. All contest decisions are final. Entries that fail to comply with the Official
Contest Rules will be disqualified.
Winners
Winners will be notified approximately 4-5 weeks after the contest deadline by phone and/or email using the information submitted. Winning photographs,
along with the photographer's name and information about the photo, will be displayed on the www.lrfa.org website.
Additional Terms and Conditions
LRFA is not responsible for computer system, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, or delayed computer transactions
or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Furthermore, LRFA is not responsible for: (i) lost, misdirected, misplaced, illegible, unintelligible,
incomplete, or late entries or (ii) any act, failure to act, or delay regarding the transmitting or processing of entries. LRFA reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to cancel or suspend all or any portion of this contest without notice if factors beyond LRFA's control, including technical difficulties,
disrupt or corrupt the fair or secure administration or operation of the contest. Void where prohibited. LRFA is entitled to interpret these rules as needed
and its decisions are final. LRFA reserves the right to disqualify any photo that LRFA has reason to believe is not the original work of entrant, or does not
otherwise meet the contest rules. If a winner is disqualified or determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected using the same
judging process/criteria described above. Alternate winners are subject to all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless LRFA and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and
promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest,
including infringement of intellectual property rights. LRFA and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume
no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from this contest.
